No sign of call of duty yet (even though it's packed and ready to roll apparently!). I played the two demos. Didn't bother downloading the promo version, cos im gonna buy the real deal.

But where is it??

I will but it when it comes out. So whats the score guys? Ive been away on baby duty and gonna get CoD when its launched uk stylee. Will everything move to CoD? or will MOHAA live on?

From a Fam point of view I do miss the praccy's and everytime ive been to the BA server its either been empty or full of others. Late nights too, I admit ive not been online as much recently but will get back into as soon as now that the early baby days are over.

Cant wait to get back into the swing of things, and hopefully the existing Fams will be included in what is being developed for the future?

Glad to see the baby thing is coming along well mate. I have no doubt Shiz that the fams will be sticking with us - at least I hope you and the others do. I guess we have all got to get to grips with the game first... then get a server (if its the one to move to) and start a website up (points finger to JT) and off we go...

max payne 2 was dissappointingly short, as for COD, I've been playin single player and it gets bloody ridiculously hard on some maps, the one where you're defending the bridge instantly springs to mind

I do like CoD, the single-player is good fun, nice and atmospheric, I've spent more time playing it online to be honest. I'm annoyed and a little disappointed about the fact that theres already a wallhack out for it, I've seen quite a few players using it too. Still I do know that this online engine that they're using is capable of Punkbuster support, it should be good once we get our own server up and running.

First impressions of MP is bloody good... played 2 maps on DM so far, chateue (i cant spell) and ship.

Chateue is pretty good, nothing much differnt but ship was a campers/snipers paradise.... get as high as possible and just pick em off... I now its not everyones cup of tea, but hell I enjoyed it.

I was the same on the Pavlov map, went on quite the sniping-rampage, remembering the golden rule of exiting the kill-zone after a kill. Loads of maps to get used to.

I think almost all of the levels are campers / snipers paradises. Except I think it's more of a game based around this. Perhaps people will have to adapt to this way of playing from the start, to avoid disappointment?

I think that tactically having snipers 'dug in' would present a new challenge in some elements of team play. As long as the entire map is not covered with camping scum I can only see that it will enhance the gameplay somewhat ?

Yu should try playin it m8, I was watchin jodo on it last night, and the camping scum were out in force, thing is if we do stick to cod, when we have our own cod server, we'll just have to kick the campers

Noted. Dont think you can ever escape the camping scum. Its the cheating scum side of things that Im concerned about. Will it be more secure than MOHAA?

Jodo mentioned a wall hack already? Why cant people play the game as intended?

I think we have a winner.... I have been playing the obj maps, they are very very good.

I think we should concentrate on the obj maps as well as roundbased, build up a good knowledge. At least with obj you can only camp half the time....

Bloody good fun, oh and i camped my ass off on Pavlovs map in team mod :P with a sniper and enjoyed every min of it LOL

DM got abit intense with 36 players, you could'nt tell if people spawn camped or not.

But all the same i think this game is just the ticket

I agree, this is probably the game to roll with - but I think its gonna be important that you lot develop a gaming style which involves camping. Yes, I can't believe I said it either - but when you play the multiplayer of this game you'll see why. I think the game is designed specifically around this type of play.

p.s. I expect they will release a patch to stop the worse of it if enough people complain!

I love it, it involves movements being more controlled and cautious than before, I'm getting the hang of it tho.

I aint played multiplayer yet but I completed the single player last night and its brilliant, and the Charge on Stalingrad is beautifully realized, if you got a decent GFX card, the water looks really good, if u got a geforce 4 mx card, it'll look pretty pap, my only crit of the game is that the weapon models look badly done, they lack detail but overall this game rules and pisses all over mohaa IMO

Yep, I love COD, the single player mode is brill, I havent played mp version yet I will try it later now that I have time..
