Thoughts?

So any thoughts on the game? Personally I'm loving it so far. There's so many things I think they've done better than WoW. I really like the way PVP works (although I still suck at it) and the public quests are just fantastic. Also loving the removal of drop rates. If they ask you to go and get a lizards tail, the tail doesn't magically disapear from the mob when it dies!!!

Graphically, it's nice although not as smooth or polished as WoW. Very good considering how long it's been out though.

I absolutely love the game, And I heard a funny thing today Mythic banned some gold farmers. But here is the thing Unlike other MMOs, there is absolutly no need to buy gold in this game. You get a bag every 10 levels fro free, the first mount only costs 15g, i had 45g at level 20. Actions seem to work fine now and bought a few things of there.

I spend 50% 50% in pvp or pve as I can log in and out of pvp wherever I am.

And I ahve to say our Guild is growing quite fast last night we got our Standard, Next we get entry into sigmars hammer.

In fact I have passed the 40 hours mark on xfire and not even vaguely interested in playing anything else.

Oohhh bought this on saturday and spent most of saturday/sunday playing (inbetween AoC sessions of course :P ).

This is a VERY fun game - the PvP/RvR stuff is just excellent.

Plus theres loads and loads and loads of PvE content (something that AoC is lacking at certain stages)

I did worry a bit after watching some gameplay on youtube that it looked a bit dated (think WoW meets Archlord with a dash of LoTRO) but the graphics quality is more than adequate and makes for quite a smooth running experience, plus the gameplay more than distracts you from the fact that it really doesnt look like a new/nextgen title.

This states the bleedin obvious for all that are already playing, just another opinion for those considering the plunge.

Yeah that was a good pvp session on friday, Velox and myself both rune priests healing and crew hitting them with arrows.

To be honest, this game is unlike wow in that you really dont need cash. I have 6G and havent really found a use for it. Spells cost practically nothing.

Dwarves are my fav race. The other ones are a bit too serious for me. There are Dwarven quests for recovering fallen comrades by giving them beer :D
