Guys,
Need help. Been using Lotus Notes at home for ages now but I am now going to start to use Outlook 2003 problem I have is I would like to transfer all my mail stored in the Notes .NSF file to a Outlook .PST file.
IBM or Microsoft do not seem to make tools that allow this to work (you need Exchange server). I have seen some tools on the net but you have to purchase these (around £100) I only want to do this once.
Anyone got any tools that allow this to happen or know of a answer to this issue. I have around 1,120 e-mails.
Thanks guys.

Searched for a bit this morning, but couldn't find anything apparent. Does lotus notes not allow you to export to some sort of format?
I'll have a look at mine this morning and see whether I can do it.

I have looked at this mmail.exe tool and looks like you need Exchange server for this to work (maybe I will have to install that) I was trying to do this without the need for exchange. Notes does have some export features but only to things like CSV files, problem comes when you need to import this into Outlook the field mappings just goes mad. You get crap data.....
This is a classic example of IBM hates Microsoft and Microsoft hates IBM two major mail system in the industry and not Import/Export features that work!!

What about using a common format?
Outlook reads things like comma seperated files (CSV) and other stuff I have never heard off. What does Notes export as apart from NSF?

Notes 5.08 exports as....
Lotus 1-2-3
Structured text
Tabular Text
Dunno bout version 6 cos we dont use it.
although I wouldn't trust any of these as a conversion method. Better off trying to find a free tool somewhere to do the conversion. Also scan Lotus site to see if they provide anything. And certainly scan microsoft technet to see (cos they are hell bent on global domination - so likely they have tools to suck you in as a new user)

Thanks for all the suggestions/help guys I ended up forwarding all the mail i wanted to keep to my outlook 2003 account.
Could not find a free tool that did this and I was not going to pay £100 for a one of hit. It was not that important.
Thanks again.
