The next Geforce card has been reviewed on Tomshardware and is massively powerhungry according to the tests, you'll need at least a 480w PSU, but on the other hand performance is off the scale in some games, particularly in COD especially when compared to the current top end GFX cards, its actually twice as fast and depending on your settings even 3x the speed of the current fastest cards, check it out:

however the shader quality test on Farcry lets it down and some games, it aint as big an improvement over the other cards as it is on COD

I'd read that the new generation of cards uses PCI Express, at the moment motherboards have PCI and AGP, the AGP is 8x, PCI express is 16x apparently. Its believed that motherboard manufacturers will start to phase AGP and standard PCI out of their boards and replace with the faster PCI-Express, power demands will be greater but its reckoned that this will lead to being able to get great performance out of the cards.
I'm gonna wait a little while I think and maybe get a newer motherboard to go with it once its more settled.

Yea I read that review of the new graphics cards, especially the new GeForces. The power requirements mean they are rulled out for Shuttles, so I am going to wait and see what Shuttle bring out to meet the needs, and then do a complete upgrade.

3x Faster? - I'd expect more from a £450+ card to be honest.
PCI-X
This will make an appearence when BTX motherboards come about.
Shuttle's & PSU's
You can buy 400W PSU's already for Shuttles, not official but compatable, They cost a shed load though. Official shuttles with 350W are due soon.

Well actually Darkie, I wouldn't even pay £300 for a gfx card, I think a card should cost no more than £180 max, ****in ripoff merchants
