With the further Delay of Quake till sometime August they are releasing a Beta Client.

Gamers who secure a place in the public beta will be thrashing the living daylights out of only one map, Sewer. This level "is part of ETQW's Pacific Campaign", the Quake Wars website explains. "Set in Japan, the map revolves around a Strogg base hidden in, well, a sewer. It's an interesting mix of outdoor and indoor, vehicle and infantry combat, deployables and counter-deployables and good old-fashioned FPS combat."

Can all QW players please get onto comms when they are playing, there is a channel ceated. Remember its the new server.

XFire isn't updated yet so I would like to get everyoone on the same server. Sooner we start to learn this game the better.

Ok firstly i like it kinda BF, Unreal and cog of war all mixed together but with much faster pace .

The Graphics are good nothing outstanding but good enough the avatars are well shaded with lots of detail and the map it self has a good level of detail .

The game play is based on the BF style I.E you pick a class of soldier to play and each class has his own set of skills that can be increased with points earned on the battlefield .Remember kills make prizes .

So is it for every one Duno i will defiantly be playing this think the rest of the maps that i have seen on line look really good so 8/10
for me and i mite revise that up when we start playing as a team

First impressions are good, its a complex game so do expect to rush in and just start killing like a normal FPS game...

I was unable to get on last night due to shopping with the missus (I hate half price sales). Also have to go ona work thing tongiht so I am really getting to use my key ;(

Hopefully will get some gaming in on Saturday night as I am not going out.

Can I PLEASE remind all people playing to ensure they get on comms and into the QW channel. The first step to getting back into competative gaming is to get our communication going. And a bit of social interaction never hurt anyone.

Those without keys please don't dispare. Public keys will eb available soon, and there should be a demo soon as well.

The beta is very VERY good. Took me aout an hour to get into the swing of things but if you listen to the mission nnouncements that you ehar and follow the GUI pointers, its really easy to pick up.

This is really good ! The gametype reminds me of the assault gametype on ut 2004. It does take a while to get used to but hell this is gonna be a cracking game!

Great game with some of the juniors. Nice to see 4 or 5 BA tags working together and on comms. As and when people get onto the beta or a demo is released, please ensure to get on comms ask people about things in the game. There is a bit of a learning curve to this one.

Ill be on It's really not that hard a game you just need to play all the caricatures on both sides till you find one you like .

Then learn all there skill set at the mo i like assault with the machine gun this will stop any thing from a tank to a grunt and Engineer cos he can build and fix most stuff both good laugh either side .

We did paticually well last night. The BA tags were all over the scorboard at the end of the match, however one was for least accurate, and one was for most team kills!|ban|
