So what did you all make of this then? Looks great, but sooo boring as a game. They obviously wanted this to be closer to 'serious sam' than other FPS games on the market.

What do y'all think?

The game engine is one of the best that I've ever seen. The way that the models of the enemies react to being shot (Stake gun) is very cool.

But it really screams a combination of Quake (one) and Serious Sam

It does look astonishingly good at some points. I've only seen the first 5 levels or so, but it's pretty funky. Love the 'oversized' bosses too!

Its being hyped as an "old skool, back-to-basics shooter", I like it, the atmosphere is gothic, certain types of demon attack really aggressive and like Darkie said the physics side of it is great.
Gotta love stakin the undead to walls.

I've played the demo quite a bit and I do think its really good however, as has already been pointed out, its basically Serious Sam only much harder

Nice game got mine on Saturday.

Havok 2 engine is excellent.
