Upgrade Sniper Rifle?

I am playing on ranked servers but could someone please tell when I qualify for my unlock sniper rifle on BF2?

you should be able to unlock it with your first rank m8, the 50 cal is a piece of sh*te though vince, better off waiting and getting more unlocks and read up on the weapons, the sa 80 aint bad (medfic class)

The m95 Rifle is good enough, I dont dislike it but meh I dont like it either. Just as good as the first rifle, only more capible on longer ranges(Bullet drop is confirmed altho noone knows how much)
