This one comes from the w00ky and I confirmed it today...

EVERY item in your backpack takes damage when you take damage, even if you are not wearing or using it, EVERY item.

So, use your vault often,sell the crap you don't use /need and remember you only need ONE crafting tool in your backpack when farming (pick or axe usually). This explains why my crafting tools were only lasting a short time between repairs, since even though they weren't in use-they still took damage.

Here's one which is quite useful esp in Bree.

Press 'M' then the top left corner there should be two tabs, click the one on the left and then when it pops down click select all.

what are the padlocks next to the quests in your tracker?

Locked quests will not be removed or bumped from your tracker by other quests that are completing in your quest log.You have the option of locking/unlocking quests as you see fit by right clicking the quest in the tracker and selecting your option

Cluttered UI?

Press Ctrl and \ to bring up your UI editing tool and you can move your control panels around as you require.Press Ctrl and \ a second time to lock your UI as you want it.

At the moment you cannot resize your UI, though this is being looked at as a patch release.
