lol, due to a lack of proper information throughout the day (which is now rectified I'm pleased to add) and some misinterpreted,albeit poorly informed, information from CodeMasters, you can register your PRE ORDER LOTRO KEY NOW. This is advisable since you may experience delays of up to 6 hours if trying to register on launch day,lol.
Your key will be registered to your COG account and you will have access for your 10 days with it. If you wish to enter into the FULL version and register you FOUNDER MEMBER key then do so on the 24th APRIL. Your FOUNDER MEMBER key and your FULL RETAIL key will need to be entered together to unlock the reduced price and lifetime payment options for your subscription.
You can fire up your LoTRO client to make sure you have the latest version of launcher and log in using your COG account details. This will show you the current server list for all the currently available European server farms, though obviously at this point they are inaccesable to play.
Updates to your current client will happen as and when, so i'm told, but will most likely occur as you attempt a login to a live server on Saturday. I will still be logging in throughout tomorrow to see if the updated client is available prior to half the planet attemtping to download all this stuff at 08.01 on Saturday morning. As you'd expect the servers are going to be pretty bloody busy so if you have the opportunity to carry out any updates before launch I would take them.
So the main points again..
Register as soon as possible,registration is now live.
Don't expect to be able to play until 08.00 on Saturday.
Try the game launcher a few times between now and Saturday to see if your client updates and patches, avoiding an inevitable delay on Saturday.
Keep hold of your FOUNDER MEMBER key, it will be used when your 10 day access expires and you enter your FULL RETAIL KEY on or after APRIL 24th.
