Wall Hack for CoD

Yeah, it's been out for a while. There have been various multihacks available since day one unfortunately.

It's really sad to see, cos these people obviously can't play without them. They must be the lowest of the low.

Theres been hacks of this nature out for a while now Vince. Its a different battlefield than what mohaa was. In mohaa there was no SV_Pure enabled (something that is in mohaa's coding but was never made accessible by EA) so peops used additional PAK3 files to see through walls etc. Once the user-made scanners came out some peops started to use mods like "Retribution" and "OpenGL32" which run outside the game and are therefore undetectable. MoHAA also had one Aimbot but according to a famous cheat-distributing website "It works but is useless and is therefore not used by anyone".

CoD has sv_pure on servers which can be set at the admins discretion, if peops use additional hacks like Foliage-hacks (makes plantmodels transparent) or brick-hacks (makes bricks but not concrete textures transparent) the console shows a message that a certain player has "unpure pak3 files" and boots em.
So of course with this measure in place players now have to resort to OpenGL32 etc which won't be picked up. Aimbots are also out there, to my knowledge theres about 5 or 6 of these little twats about and they come bundled with a load of "extras".
I've sent over 40 different hacks off to Punkbuster and they've said they'll all be added to the database but it'll still be an ongoing thing; as they release the cheats we'll have to find em and send em to evenbalance's research team.
