Well, I finally (after many days of struggling) got my box hacked. Now all I gotta do is find media that works ok with it.

If anyone else was interested about doing the same, you're gonna need the following (to make it easier!)

- Xecuter unlock kit
- A datastick
- A PC without SATA capability
- A VIA VT6421 SATA PCI card
- Lots of patience!

If anyone needs help unlocking their Toshiba-Samsung MS28 version DVD in their xbox, let me know.

Mainly because it'll only be a matter of time before XBox media center is released for it. Was annoyed that even with the media extender, it couldn't play DivX movies. But a hacked box will be able to do it eventually.

Also just a matter of time before Microsoft start banning hacked xboxes from xbox live no doubt, but it aint happened yet!

Even when they do, i wont be too bothered about it.

Possible. Im gonna wait till it's established first. May have a look on xbins tonight though.

sheesh you could have bought a chipped dvd player that plays everything for £50 ... :rolleyes:
