I see this as a big novelty thing.....

I mean the selling point is little more than a bit of an advanced eye-toy thing u can get for ps2?!

360 will have a controller like it very soon.

So what else does it do?!

I mean who wants to stand up and wave the controller around?! - ok for a bit of a laugh, but the average gamer likes their couch and crisps etc. I just see it as a short lived thing unless it offers anything else................

hum kinda wot i thought but i do have a nintendo 64 and that was a good console .
One thing nintendo do well and thats make good quality game's.
the Wii is not pretending to be a media server or blue ray player it just a game console with some new bit bolted on and at good price .

PS3 at 500quid is gona whant to be the bollox at that price even though its got wot could be a cheap blu ray player built in wich is good .
but from wot i read it's going to use HDMI Mk3 wich is not backward compatable so if you got an HDMI tv / monitor it ant nessaseraly gona work ???????

No, the v2 xbox has some more ports (read usb and stuff) and has something to do with ultra high def output.

Neither of these things are important to me thankfully, otherwise i'd have been pissed off!
