Does anyone know where I can get PAR2? I've already got SmartPar but now a lot of Newgroups have files with PAR2 parity files and I don't know where to get it. Anyone?

A program for handling Par files, the program has been discontinued by the creators. You can still download this excellent program at our Slyck Guide To Smartpar.

I cant find anything relating to a second version of this program in any of my 'Search Engines'

Isnt the second version called quickpar?

At any rate, it's f*cking rubbish. Can take up to an hour to restore a file, depending on how big the archive is. The old one wasn't that crap!
