What a difference a gig makes....

I tried out BF2 on my new system last night at around 11pm saying to myself "I will just see what the grphics are like on high and see if the system can handle it"... next thing I know its 3am.

I found BF2 really frustrating on my old system as it was jumpy on medium (1280 x 1024) but the new rig seems to love it.

We gotta get some BA players back into this game... it rocks.

Anyone actually got the full game of 2142 yet? I played the demo and it was laggy as hell, but I was chatting to a HP engineer that plays and he said the full version is much better. Debate?

I am gonna buy it just to play at lan's... dont like the demo beta much but as you said, you cant judge the full game on that.

The full game isn't bad - it's just that it doesn't differ from the other battlefield games that much, which kinda switched me off from the start.

It does look really nice tho, and some of the new units are pretty neat too. Especially like the EMP.

I've got the full game and it's really worth buying. There's some really nice features to the game, the graphics are pretty good and the gametypes are good. There's a couple of crummy maps making the rounds a bit one-sided sometimes and there are a few technical faults with the game, like the ranking system is fudged sometimes and you lag on the titan because it moves, but on the whole it's definately worth getting. =)

Well i installed it started to play it's not a bad game me thinks i like it though it did keep kicking me back to desktop every 20 mins or so .
Though if you u turn off the Voip in game that solves that .

I think i prefer this game its more ground based fighting
