Hello

I have play on the {BA} server frequently throught GameSpy. I have also marked the server as favourite but for some reason I just cannot see the server in the list any more. I have even reinstalled the gamespy software and recreated by profile.

Any ideas how to resolve this issue.

Hi there m8y,


You'd be as easy just to add it straight into CoD's native internet browser. If you click the Add Server button and put in our IP address (can be found on the front page of our website) it'll be added to your favourites list. Then you don't need to browse.

Or if you're a real regular, you can create a text file with this in it....



connect 82.197.68.54:28970


Save it in your CoD Main folder, then edit the multiplayer ICON properties and add this at the end...

+exec mytextfile.txt

So it should look like....

"C:\Games\Call of Duty" +exec mytextfile.txt

Or slightly different, depending on where you installed the game. Now, when you start it'll boot straight to our server.

Thanks for the advise, will try that. Any ideas on how to resolve the busy server problem.

The server is always busy, so with gamespy I could just highlight the server and select the busy server redial option. Is it possible to do this throught command line.

I have tried this but still having trouble connecting to this server from the console. I have setup no filters in gamespy, but cannot understand why I can't server the {BA} server.

any ideas

Not sure m8. I always avoid gamespy these days.
