Looking for a program or plugin for ms exchange server that will send a text message via GSM modem from exchange to a mobile when a new mail message has arrived.

Any of you admins come across something?

Yes, my work uses one, its called PageGate. When one of our systems goes down (Web Applications), an email is sent to a support box in ur exchange. PageGate monitors this email and SMS's a mobile / collection of mobiles.

Hire a student to stand by the server and keep checking for incoming. Then, get him to send a message from his 'pay as you go' mobile - before packing him off to make tea for everyone else.

Minimum wage of course.
