Well there is just one good thing to be said for it it will have a blueray drive for playing (Hdeff ) films and sutch and that alone is not a bad reson to get one

Everyone i've heard talkin bout PS3 say that graphically and gameplaywise, they are almost identical to the xbox 360. However, the PS3 has that online world thing which the 360 doesn't have. (no doubt micro$hit will steal the idea pronto)

Well i got to say it is F@cking nice bit of kit its sleak shinny black case is very good and seams well made set up is a breze .
The wirless set up took about 10 mins to set up with no reall hickups.It has a very good auto network config wich was a dodel to do .

Next set up the online acount without a keyboard took a while not been a text wizard but still easy enough .There is a inbuilt browser very Explorer like with a tool bar on the right hand side to help you config odd pages and get you back the main menu.

Once that was done it did a update took a couple of mins updated with no-reboot

Next Set the Graphics and Sound up the menu is easy and very simple you can tweek most things .As i run a Hi-Def reciever and TV sp real easy plug the HDMI lead in and it dose a auto set up again and set it self to 1020P res job done .

Now down to the nitty Gritty whats its like to play on well i cranked up the volume and stuck in Motor Storm OMFG it rocks
the graphics are brill and the sound well it was shaking the walls .The controller is wirless but need to be charged up though the usb lead but i have tryed it wirles now and seams very good the motion sensor in the controller is resonable too .

To sum up it rocks I did consider a 360 but i got a pc and they were just too close for cumfort so am i please about spending way more than i should of Yep

i must say i love my PS3 its amazing bit of kit got it on launch night at midnight from game |afro| and motorstorm is quite amazing love the physics and graphics |afro|

Sony really screwed up with their release. They made europe wait too long for too little. I especially like this news release (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6485483.stm) about Micro$hit crashing their launch!

You're only saying that cos you bought one! If you'd bought a 360 (at less than 2/3rds the price of a PS3) you'd be saying the same about the PS3 right now!

Loool no i still think its the best and i would buy a 360 if i thought it was better .

Im not really knocking it i just can't see the point of a 360 for me i got a pc it is priced well too but i like cutting edge and the 360 is certainly not that it's just not there and now there tyring to reless a new one this oct i think microsoft know they have to do somthing to get the edge back .I agree its got a good catalogue of games but its been about longer.


Bottom line i wanted the Blue Ray drive as much as anything ealse cheapest drive is like £600.00 from sony and the PS3 use's the same drive ?
Plus it comes as HD out the box anouther big plus for meand so far i really like it .

That said still want a Wii for my kiddys to use that deff the best alround console and for the money too .

You're kidding yourself if you think that ONLY the 360 is close to a PC inside!

360 also comes as HD out of the box. And you didn't need to buy the HD cable as a seperate item.

Kidding no most consols are based on pc tech but the ps3 is at least based on a cell cpu plus there own chipset not intel which is at lest a good step away from that with some serious prossesing power to boot.
As to the HD dos't the HD drive come as a seprate item ?? if im wrong then so be it

i had a 360 and i didnt like it i got 2 that died on me the third was ok but i just didnt find it that good tbh so i sold it to a friend. i will buy another 360 when the elite comes out at the end of the summer |firegun2|

My 360 came with HD out of the box (the premium one). Expect the other one doesn't.

I ended up using my VGA cable with my TV anyway. It's an awesome console I reckon.

Well i got a Wii few days ago and it is the Dogs Dagelleys the missis loves it and so dose my older daugter .
Its deff a clasic Nintendo have always made good machines never top of the Thec pile but solid with family oriantated game Mario world even if you don't like playing it the quality of the game just shines out .

Though i still like my Ps3 too Bro and i where up till 3 playing Motor storm it's a brill game and don't normaly play driving games
