-take about 2 mins to connect/disconnect
-laggy as hell

any video setting that wud help? i can run call of duty 2 on quite high graphics and stuff if that helps?|doh2|

what are specs cpu, graphics and memory

bf2 needs 2gig of ram to run in high settings, try running everything in medium aprt from geometry set that to high and draw distance to 100% if u still have problems killl the dynamic lighting.

AA will slow everything done aswell so if you have that enabled try reducing it or turn it off, its usual to get some lag at the begining of a new map for about the 1st minute.

Not having the best of luck, left the patch to download last night, wake up and it says it cannot copy patch cuz of low disk space on my C: drive, GAH!

just look on xfire m8y think if we can find a fairly empty one we could have a little fun practice

I tend to enter "multiplay" into the server name filter and then sort by size, I find 60+ player server to laggy on big maps, and the 32 players one just dont have enough people to run down... so I tend to go for something in between, try AWOL server or 50Klicks.

Be careful as they take the rules very seriously, and people get temp bans... as crew found out.

all up and running, even got the euro forces expansion :) yay!!! on a downside from re ghosting my HD, i got cod and uo installed :( (oh well will have some more space once i get through unistalling them:):):):):)
