FFS!!
I've just been reading the various posts on Clanbase regarding the patch and I genuinely cannot understand peoples bitching.
Its gone from "Can't wait for the patch, can't wait, IW r0xx0r meh b0xx0rs etc" to "this patch sucks, I can't jump and make use of a hit-box glitch, I've been denied the opportunity to look like a complete nipple".
WTF is wrong with people? Apparently now CoD is gonna be a camping game? I don't think so, theres less camping on there now than ever because only genuinely good sniper players can use the weapon. No more of that Bunny-hopping crap, its now one-on-one, mano e mano; a fair playing field now with no bugs to exploit.
I see people saying that IW has listened to a minority of whiners and taken away the best parts of the game: complete crap. People bought the game because it looks good, has a authentic touch to it with the various weapons and maps. How is bunny-hopping realistic? IW have said that the game (when released) was not supposed to have the bunnyhopping element in it, now its proper, the way its meant to be. The weapons are balanced now, riflemen have an equal chance, only choice players can use the sniper effectively, and the Axis smg is no longer outpowered by the Allied weapons.
I don't think that the game will go downhill for us, its the way its meant to be, the server was crammed when I went on at 8:30 this morning which is a good sign. We'll adapt to a better style of play than these whinging n00bs and carry on.
