The trick is simple (and OLD). Criss works in conjunction with at least 1 stooge (the shop keeper). The glass in the window has an upside down 'U' shape cut into the the bottom - below the line of the bottom of the window frame. The shop keeper partially lifts the pane while criss is taking his shoes off (note the massive misdirection here!). Criss goes into the shop and does his ****. Note that he's paranoid about the guy pushing too hard. By this time, the U shape is almost completely behind the paper. He pops through the hole and the shopkeeper slides the pane back down after him. Note you see shopkeeper right up at glass, and that criss pauses once out through the hole. Also note that the sign on the glass isn't attached TO the glass, and that the glass is immaculately clean. This is an absolute must for the trick to work properly, so no grease line can be seen when the glass is lifted. The two holding the paper dont notice the lift because the hole is 'U' shaped (therefore the left and right of the glass are still in tact).

Ta daaaaa! Another take on an age-old illusion.
