I've just been to Punkbusters (http://www.punkbuster.com) website and they have announced that the Punkbuster support for CoD is coming soon. Its also mentioned on Clanbases front page too, so soon I imagine we'll be seeing less cheats. Impressed by Activision, unlike EA they actually give a shit about the people that buy the game and not just their money.

Goldie and the clan assosiated with goldie dont cheat nor do they condon cheating. If you are caught cheating on the {BA} server you will be promptly be removed. Cheating is also a lame way of acheaving an advantage over your enmy! DONT DO IT!

According to IWNation (http://www.iwnation.com) (Infinity Wards preferred forum) this is what Grant Collier the President of IW had to say:

Since the release of Call of Duty, Infinity Ward has been researching the various cheats that online players have been coming up against. While we have made fixes for many of the cheats out there, Infinity Ward knows that this will be an on-going issue. So with a long-term "Anti-Cheat" strategy in mind, Infinity Ward has worked out a deal with "Even Balance" to have Punkbuster added to Call of Duty. This will be an optional addition for players, but we expect that certain servers and competitions will make it mandatory.

I couldn't give a flying smeg what happens now, this is a hell of a lot more promising than what I've seen of other companies (EA) before.
