Top 10 reasons why Call of Duty is fun right after the Holidays:
1. The influx of newbies who are more concerned with how to color their names than aim their gun.
2. The cries of "hax! hax!" when you shoot someone through the wall... because their body was sticking through it due to the collision/culling bug.
3. The drunken and hung-over gamers with the reflexes of a hibernating sloth.
4. People who got the game as a gift, but still don't own headphones and constantly wonder why everyone "sees" them as they move through the bushes of brecourt.
5. Newbies who are so distressed by the one-shot-kill potential of the Kar98 and Mosin-Nagant, that they mod their servers to load one bullet at a time in those guns, but have no problem with sniper rifles, because scoped weapons are supposed to kill in one shot.
6. Servers with their callvotes disabled because too many new players kept voting off the ones who got more than 2 kills per round, because Call of Duty is "realistic like counter-strike and there are no heroes in war."
7. Players who join, shoot a teammate by "accident" in their first round, die from reflective Friendly Fire, ask "is FF on?" next round and quit to find another server when told it's reflective.
8. The tears of laughter that well up in your eye when you get accused of "movement hack" because you were shot and then moved to dive for cover, and later told it's "unrealistic because you're supposed to freeze like in CS."
9. New server admins who kick players for saying naughty words like "shit" on a PG-rated server (think about it for a second), while at the same time looking down the barrel of their Lee-Enfield and aiming for the head of an unsuspecting German. Remember what the MPAA says, kids: horrific deplorable violence is OK, as long as you don't use naughty words!
10. The joy of convincing someone to type "/cg_shellshock 300" into his console.
