Dunno about anyone else, but that fact that the MEC speak in what I presume is Arabic means you don't get to hear all the "Enemy APC incoming" messages etc (unless of course you are fluent) but rather you have to search the battle spam for them. Annoying to say the least.
I've just read on the TotalBF2 forums that there is a setting in options to set all voice overs to english. When I get home i'll update this with the exact setting if necessary, but for now they've said there's a checkbox to set "English voice-overs only" in the audio section.
Perhaps not as realistic, but I for one don't give a damn if it means a don't have a tank run over my head whilst sniping :D
