I've been trying to re-install half life 2 for ages.. and whilst im playing I keep getting File not found or error opening file :xxx xxx etc I done the file check thing and I've re-installed it 3 times (the missing files are different each time I install, but always the same one when I get the error for that install (if you get what i mean..).. It's funny really cause im using the original disk I used when I completed it with no errors, and I Havent changed the hardware or nothing else..

Tried copying the files off the disk into temp folder?? This usually works!
