Brothers in Arms Problem..

Hey guys,

bought BiA today and its a great game, only, when i log into my account on the game and enter my cd-key it gives an unknown error and i get taken back to the login screen....

anyone else gettin this problem?

You lucky feckers. I can't even get my soddin copy to boot!

I get some sort of internal game exception error and it gives me a log and **** like that. I've sent it off, but if I dont hear within a few days im gonna have to tell them to jam their brotherhood up their a$$holes

how about take a close look at the forums from ubisoft brothers in arms
thats how i found out what to do and it helped

well, maybe its a case of my expectations being too high again, i find the graphics fairly unexciting and the voice acting pish, the playability is ok but the available actions and commands are far fewer than i was expecting.

needless to say the multiplayers probably where its at - i've paid for it so i'm gonna complete it, maybe by then my opinion will have changed

Well, I can't get my own copy working anyway - and it looks like no help from Ubisoft, so I may have to send it back to Phil to return to the shop or summat. ****in n00bs they are.

Here's the response I wrote back to Ubisoft (who i will from this point on, call Noobiesoft)....



1. The forums are useless. Even the moderator says "we aren't tech support". Plus my problem isn't listed in the many pages I trawled, and even if it WERE - nobody seems to have the answers (hence the reason you guys are tech support)

2. DXDIAG is attached to this support ticket. Check the bottom of the screen!

3. I couldn't include more information if I tried! You got my machine spec and the exact error message dump, along with DXDiag info. Short of my inside leg measurement I reckon you have it all.

4. Hows about some REAL support - even if it's just to say that Ubisoft released the game WAY before it was ready. Save me some time, and i'll get my money back. Alternatively, lets keep going in circles, where you guys post me another 'preprepared' response, and I write back in a semi-irate fashion?
