right my computer keeps deciding to reboot every time i play CoD, its not got any viruses or worms, it just reboots after playin for about 5- 10 mins.....feckin annoyin as u might imagine any ideas?

What graphics card u got? I heard that some peops with Ati Radeons have similar probs (I think).

Yup radeons dont like it, also check you cpu temperature.

right even with forcewear drivers im still crashin, was playin (and ownin on a b.e.l. map with hunter when the map changed i crashed , im gonna throw the fuckin thing right out the fuckin window in a min, coz its pissin me right off.......

and its def CoD as ive just spent the last hour or so ownin on mohaa on our busy server alot of dmw and some good ownage was had:D:D:D:D

try to read the technical forum from CoD on activision m8
they helped me a lot it seems that you have to step back with the software from the graphics card

i had the same problem with my radeon and there are a lot more question's in the technical forum's

Yeah, try version 43.23 of your drivers, and get them STRAIGHT from nVidias site. Uninstall your existing driver and reinstall the older one.

right guys im about to give up on this feckin game.....
ive tryed every available nvidia driver still the same damn prob....
i put in a geforce 4 mx440 and tryed every driver the same damn thing happens.....
but play mohaa, use the computer in general, and its fine.
so i guess my puter dont like CoD so i guess im gonna give up on the fucking game ........

right got a rteply from activision this morning and suprise suprise they do not no what could be causeing this problem, but if at any future stage they have a solution they will contact me, they have also asked me if i do solve the problem could i contact them so that they could help others that may get a similar type of prob.

my problem was that my screen turned black and shut down
but not the system and that was caused by the graphics card

and i think the MX card doesn't work at all according to forum questions (activision)

maybe it has something to do with MEM or CPU

buy your self a new puter m8 ;)

nah goldie m8 the sys completely reboots, the mx cards r fine as babes got a mx440, and no probs.

Can I suggest something radical? Can you put Babes mx440 card in your PC and try to see if it works with that. At least then you can say it's down to graphics / gfx drivers.

This may help (I hope so), after speaking to Aid earlier about it he seems to think it may be your CPU's temperature, he uses an Athlon and said his switched off of its own accord when running the Dawnville demo, he installed a fan thats better than the generic crap that AMD supply and Hey Presto: problem solved.
