New website layout

I've been thinking about the new website layout and whats gonna be on it. I won't be starting it for another couple of months, but meantime feel free to post your suggestions about things you'd like to see. So far, i've had the following ideas....

1 vs 1 Ladder : Thought it'd be a good idea to get a personal ladder going again. I've found that anytime the server is empty, its fun to grab someone else and have a 1 on 1 (no nades, pistols or walking).

Serious Issue Voting : Perhaps we should have a new system to post anonymous reports about other members, which can be voted on to determine the outcome. If a member misbehaves, then you can anonymously post a report about that person, and if others share the belief then they will be dealt with accordingly. It just seems to me that there is no control over this at all - and it'd be a good place to start.

Hall of Shame : I've seen other sites providing a hall of shame for cheats who have been caught. I think this is a good idea and plan on having a section where members can post details of such people.

Personal Hibernation : The ability to hibernate as an individual within the clan, disallowing selection for future games etc (but only with good reason!)


Anyone with any other ideas, please post them (however quirky) and we'll look into them.

sorry to see the clan in hibernation but i read the comments before this idea was addopted so ok will there still be praccys to keep our hand in ? i do hope so ? will the server still be up as badacid or have you let the server go ?

as i said earlier1 vs 1 Ladder for the last time this was started was a good idea BUT some did not play as other reasons were given and it was cancelled.....lol

Hall of shame lets do it it could be a way of ridding the game of compulsive cheats ect but can you cope with the changing of names? you may have to list there ip also just an idea?

personel hibernation may be good but i dont follow why anyone would want to ?

Yeahh a Hallo of Shame that's a good one...i see over the last few weeks that there is more cheating on our server then ever.

I dont see any point in practises any more hairy, after all we aint bothering with mohaa clan matches no more so what are we practising for?
What we can do if the admins agree is to just close the server whenever we feel like it and we got enough of our guys online and password the server and have a friendly game(match style or public style) or whatever, no sneaking around n shit, no camping, just a good honest blast em up, the kinda game that will attract the players we've been losing touch with such as don187

yeah i understand where you are comming from sonny, but i still think that we need the tuesday praccies even tho moh is dead we will (hope) to be moving to COD which we hope is a team game so practicing the team play might still be a good thing. Just a women's point of view, :) :) we've still got people that like playing praccies ( and yes i know they take time to plan and a lot of effort goes into it ) but every team needs praccies, anyway its a laugh:D :D

I like the idea of 1 v 1 ladder, what about last man standing too?

Screenshots, downloads etc....

What about trying to get the server filled up during the day somehow too?

The 1 v1 matches could be a laugh, I'm not certain I want to be in a ladder like but thats my view, name and shaming cheats is definetly one to look at, they spoil our game, they lie compulsively to their opponents (and to their friends too), lets hurt their "rep" with the truth. Only thing I worry about is listing their IP, I'll look into where we'd stand legally. Practice I'm not so fussed with anymore, I looked at practice for "sharpening the spears" so to speak for matches, the difference here is that CoD is gonna be a different-paced game and that will modify teamwork somewhat, just my opinion.

no praccys could mean the loss of the edge when you go back into the arena, you need to keep sharp fall into a rut ( up against non clans other than individuals ) and when you go back to that arena your plastered in every game????? thats what i mean, and we still as fams need the match type practice to improve or its all individual and what we have gained in praccys goes to the wall and our improvment goes with it ......lol so on that idea we can maybe have a praccy from time to time ba against fams again so we can kick your butts again just like last time ( major was a fam then and so was dog ) so maybe you would get your own back ???

No i still think the requirment is there for praccys as does mega ( nice one mega ):D |angel|
